In summer of 2021, Yasmin worked as a creative intern at Healthy Roots Dolls. Healthy Roots Dolls is a toy company that focuses on creating Black dolls with curly hair to help teach young Black girls to love their own hair. During her time interning Yasmin, edited video content using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects, created social media templates for the company social media and even created graphics and animations for marketing and print. Additionally, Yasmin also prepared a marketing case study outlining a company problem and solution as well as participated in the brand's overall marketing campaign meetings during brainstorm sessions.
